The "NOMAD" was put into production to meet the long-held desire of customers for high-quality hand-sewn engineer boots.

The last used is the #1970 last, newly adopted after 2021. Compared to the previous #9169, the instep height is lower, resulting in a sharper form. Conversely, the ball joint (near the base of the big toe) is slightly wider, so the fit will not feel overly tight.

The Arch-Ease (arch support) characteristic of White's Boots is less pronounced than on the #4811 last used for Smokejumpers, etc. Fine size adjustments can be made by inserting the included insole. If you insert this insole, you will likely feel less of the Arch-Ease.

The current model has a narrower shaft (leg portion) than previous models.

This is an in-stock item that we custom-ordered, available for immediate shipment. White's Boots increased prices from January 2025, but this item is offered at the previous, pre-revision price. Ordering the same specifications now would cost about 40,000 yen more, so if the size and specifications suit your preference, this is a very good deal.
