This bandana incorporates all three major elements of vintage bandanas: large size, selvedge edges, and indigo dye. Due to its use on the body or for wiping sweat, it was frequently washed, and "color fading" was the biggest challenge. For this reason, bandanas began to be printed with "COLOR FAST" using reactive dyes with high "colorfastness" to prevent fading.
Many indigo bandanas date back to before World War II, and their beautiful fading, a byproduct unique to indigo, fascinates not only collectors but also many fans.
