When you pick up this sweatshirt, the first thing that will surprise you is its "weight."
This newly developed sweatshirt is the result of repeated trial and error to reproduce the RW type of the 1960s.
This revolutionary athletic sweatshirt, which uses fabric horizontally to reduce shrinkage, tends to draw attention to its side paneling, but its true characteristic lies in the "yarn."
The fabric, knitted with thorough high-density, is stiff yet elastic, and heavy yet soft and fluffy.
What Warehouse is particular about is the "grain" of the fabric.
"Fabric grain standing out" usually refers to "vertical lines" in ordinary sweatshirts, but in this RW model, it refers to "horizontal lines."
To make the grain stand out, we repeatedly changed the combination of yarn count and knitting density.
What we arrived at is "plying," which is rare for a sweatshirt.
Normally, one thread each is knitted for the front, middle, and back, but by plying them, it became easier to increase the density.
Furthermore, due to the characteristics of the loop-wheeling machine, we were able to make the fabric stiff while maintaining its elasticity, and make the surface grain stand out.
Navy and Bordeaux have crackle prints, while Heather Gray and Oatmeal have discharge prints.
