■UES Indigo Duck Shorts 45D-I [2025 Spring/Summer New Release]
 We arranged vintage work pants as inspiration to create this product. The outer fabric is sulfur-dyed duck fabric, and with washing, the color fades, enhancing its vintage feel. Additionally, the newly added denim and Wabash this season offer the attractive fading unique to indigo. The denim is made using yarn produced on Japan's oldest existing spinning machine, known as the Ishikawa-dai, and the fabric is woven based on yarn with a texture closer to hand-spun. We've incorporated this approach of being particular about the yarn used in power looms into these denim shorts. For Wabash, we used a proven fabric from our work caps. It's a meticulously crafted specification where both warp and weft threads are indigo-dyed, and then dots are discharged-printed at the end. The front pockets are shaped to allow easy access from above. Workwear details include asymmetrical back pockets with a flap on only one side, reinforcement fabric applied from the back, and triple-needle stitching with thick thread. Weight: 450g  UES started in 1997 with the opening of an antenna shop in Kobe. The name UES comes from "waste," meaning scraps or garbage. In Japan, rags (reused old clothes) used to clean machinery in ironworks and repair shops have traditionally been called "ues." We create products with the hope that they will be utilized until the very end (until they become ues), rather than sleeping in a closet before fulfilling their purpose.
