 Model: 175cm tall, 62kg, wearing size L This is a limited edition by Tailor Toyo, to be released for the New Year in 2026. The appeal of this piece lies in its vivid "golden" threads, which set it apart from other vintage items. Its greatest feature is the intricately embroidered dragon coiling around the sleeves. Typically, the main feature of a sukajan is the embroidery on the back, but for this jacket, it's no exaggeration to say that the dragons on the sleeves are the stars. The dragons coil around the entire arm from shoulder to cuff, with large and very dynamic embroidery, making it a rare specification. The base for this jacket is a vintage piece from the mid-1950s. The "Bamboo Tiger" on the back, roaring on a rocky riverbank, is a traditional Japanese motif, but the bamboo is embroidered in blue and the rocky bank in red thread, creating a brilliant finish where the primary colors stand out against the black velveteen. In this piece, the word "Japan" is also in red, and the rare color scheme of the embroidery is accented by a monochromatic white ribbing. The reversible side features the so-called Japan Map pattern. The blue satin fabric, reminiscent of the sky and ocean, is complemented by the contrast of yellow-based embroidery and ribbing. Usually, the eagle depicted with the map is often stylized, but in this work, it is realistically depicted with meticulous stitching, even showing the gradation of its wings. It can be said to be a particularly excellent and luxurious embroidery among the many Japan Map patterns. The body specifications are also unique; unlike regular velveteen sukajan, there is no padding. It is a reversible velveteen x satin jacket, but it reproduces a rare detail without quilting stitches. The special specifications and luxurious embroidery of this jacket are fitting for the first sale celebrating the start of the new year, leading to its first reproduction at this time.
