 The "THC" series is a flagship T-shirt from Flat Head, made with a strong neckline and durable body. This T-shirt features a neckline that resists stretching due to its 20-count yarn and "three-needle, one-thread-removed" stitching, and excellent durability thanks to its dense fabric. It becomes more comfortable and develops a richer texture with each wear. Flat Head T-shirts are characterized by the stitching around the neckline. Inspired by the stitching of real vintage T-shirts, Flat Head uniquely improved upon it with their "three-needle, one-thread-removed® stitching," which uses thick 20-count cotton yarn for the neckline, an area prone to stretching. Furthermore, by sewing with a total of three stitches—two on the rib and one on the body—this technique leverages both sewing technology and the properties of cotton to create a T-shirt with a neckline that resists stretching. The neckline is less likely to stretch even after many years of wear, allowing you to enjoy your favorite design for a long time. The fabric is knitted using a circular knitting machine from the 1960s. While these knitting machines produce stable quality, they are now rare, and there are very few skilled technicians who can maintain them. The THC series uses 14-count, thick yarn fabric. Knitting with such thick yarn requires strong needles, so special needles imported from Germany are used to create the tough body. The Flying Wheel pattern is emblematic of Flat Head. This design has been renewed to "SINCE 1996," and the pattern is expressed using discharge printing and dye-print. Dye-print is a technique where dye soaks into the fabric, while discharge printing is a technique where the fabric color is decolorized while simultaneously adding new color. Both methods result in the dye soaking into the fabric, creating a textured feel that blends with the fabric, and a characteristic change in texture that becomes more appealing with wear.
