The GL3, made by Toyoda Automatic Loom Works half a century ago, is one of Japan's earliest power looms, and since there are no replacement parts, the only way to perform maintenance is to remove parts from discarded machines of the same type and replace them. It requires a lot of effort to maintain, and furthermore, it is an inefficient loom that can only weave 5 meters per hour. However, the denim woven with this GL3 has the ruggedness and wildness of denim from half a century ago, and is the only loom that can express denim for workwear. D'ARTISAN's new standard SD-1000 series, "GL3 Series," uses denim made with D'ARTISAN's original recipe for everything, including the uneven shape of the yarn, the yarn count, the color of the rope dyeing, and the number of warp and weft threads, to maximize the characteristics of this GL3. It has a unique unevenness and roughness that cannot be expressed by modern denim, which is produced efficiently and uniformly. This is a confident work that was finally completed after repeated trial weaving without any compromise. This is a coverall jacket made from GL3 denim, which is an original denim. It has a gently flared A-line silhouette that combines the ruggedness of workwear with a stylish feel.
