The freedom sleeve on this sweatshirt was developed to allow for ease of arm movement. The characteristic feature is that the sleeve seam extends in an S-shape from the shoulder to the armpit, with no seam under the arm. Due to the time and effort involved, this highly rare sweatshirt was only produced from the 1940s to the 1950s. Double-needle stitching is the mainstream, and the beautiful curves of the double-needle stitching become more prominent with wear.  Buzz Rickson's is a military brand from Toyo Enterprise, which owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's relationship with the military is long-standing, with roots tracing back to its predecessor, Minato Shokai, which supplied products such as souvenir jackets (Sukajan, etc.) to US military bases. In 1993, the company released its first flight jacket.
