The Type B-15 was adopted on April 7, 1944, as an improved version of the B-10. While its predecessor, the B-10, had patch pockets with vertical flaps, the B-15 featured slash pockets cut into the main body, which allowed wearers to access their pockets even when wearing a parachute harness. The pocket bags are lined with warm corduroy fabric. The front zipper has a storm flap for increased cold protection and is offset to the right. When the sleeves are turned inside out, the underarms and elbows are cut away and lined with rayon-cotton fabric for smooth movement. With a large mouton collar, a cotton outer shell, and alpaca pile lining, the B-15 established the basic form of an intermediate flight jacket, offering ease of movement without compromising cold protection. Weight: 1370g  Buzz Rickson's is a military brand from Toyo Enterprises, which also owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's connection with the military dates back to its predecessor, Kosho Shokai, which supplied goods such as souvenir jackets (sukajan) to US military bases. In 1993, the company released its first flight jacket. Since then, the military wear reproductions, like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, have all been perfectly crafted.
