■Buzz Rickson's AVIATION ASSOCIATES CORDUROY CAP BR02823

In 1903, the moment the Wright brothers left the earth with engine power, human flight began. Researching photographic materials from that time, one finds that pilots wore sweaters and vests under leather coats to avoid the cold, and classic headwear like casquettes and applejack caps. This applejack cap uses corduroy, and its elegant quality pairs well with a classic look.

AVIATION ASSOCIATES

From the 1920s to the 1940s, various flight suits incorporating military specifications were also sold commercially. Analyzing old photographic materials from the war, one can sometimes see pilots wearing these commercially available jackets, which indicates that they actually flew. Normally, wearing jackets other than those issued by the government was, of course, against regulations, but it can be said that this is typical of how regulations were relaxed during wartime. The main difference between government-issued and commercially available items was in their design and material usage, with many colors adhering to those of government-issued items. Especially in terms of exterior design, many items were arrangements based on military-issued products, and there are many attractive jackets that give a very classic impression. Aviation Associates is a collection of phantom jackets that Buzz Rickson's, a military contractor at the time, released for the civilian market. We invite you to experience these jackets, which are a condensed essence of the Buzz Rickson's spirit.
buzz
Buzz Rickson's is a military brand from Toyo Enterprises, which owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's relationship with the military dates back to its predecessor, Koushou Company, which supplied souvenir jackets (such as Sukajan) to US military bases. In 1993, they released their first flight jacket. Since then, the military wear they have successively reproduced is as perfect as Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear.
