This hoodie, the classic item number 3010, is styled after sweatshirts made in America from the 1950s to the 1970s. Each piece is finished by craftsmen using a rare, old-fashioned 4-needle "Union Special" sewing machine that can only sew 20 pieces a day. This sewing method, which creates flat and durable seams (on the inside), is called "flat seamer". However, mass production is not possible with flat seamer. Nevertheless, Barns stubbornly adheres to this method. The fabric, made with a "small-diameter knitting machine," has no seams around the torso, commonly known as "circular knit." Knitted slowly from top to bottom in a tubular form, it creates a unique texture. While not efficient in terms of production, it's understandable that many fans support this commitment to craftsmanship. A genuine body with a perfect silhouette. The kangaroo pocket is also made with a flat seamer, providing a unified stitch in this simple yet practical zip hoodie. This is a pigment-dyed version based on the BR-3010. The unique hues characteristic of pigment dyeing evoke a strong vintage feel that appeals to men. Due to the pigment dyeing, it will fade like indigo dye, allowing you to enjoy "aging" that appears with continued wear and washing.
