The "Union Special" is a phantom sewing machine, of which only a limited number are in operation due to poor production efficiency, difficult maintenance, and a shortage of engineers.
Using such a valuable sewing machine, thick small-diameter knit fabric is carefully sewn piece by piece.
It features flat seamer stitching that makes the seams feel less uneven.
Additionally, it incorporates a double V-gusset, a detail of vintage sweatshirts,
resulting in a classical appearance with a comfortable fit.
